PDF export
Export PDF produces ANSI B (11×17”) landscape sheets in black and white. The set opens with the top-level schematic, then one detail set per collapsed subsystem, then the wire schedule. For the example that means a system overview with the five subsystems as blocks, followed by GLV Power, Shutdown Circuit, VCU & Driver Inputs, Accumulator and Drivetrain & Cooling in detail.
- Wires are labelled with their signal and IEC color code. A label goes where it covers no other wire; if there’s no free spot the wire prints unlabelled and the wire schedule still lists it. Crossings hop, and cables print as labelled bundles.
- The wire schedule lists every wire and cable conductor, with a Cable column and each conductor’s color.
- Hidden unused terminals stay hidden in the PDF.
- If a block is bigger than a sheet, export warns you and offers to split it. The export still runs.
- Free exports carry a watermark. Student exports print “Educational use – not for commercial use” under the logo.
- PDF templates (Pro and Student): in Settings → PDF templates, save title blocks with your own logo (PNG/JPEG, up to 1 MB) and up to 8 fields. A field is text filled per project (with an optional default such as your team or company name), the export date, or “Sheet n of N”. Project and View are always shown. Mark one template as your account default, or pick one per project on the Sheet tab.
